Mid-level Disaster Recovery/Contingency Administrator

Responsibilities:
Peraton is seeking a mid-level Disaster Recovery/Contingency Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
The ideal candidate wil be responsible for preparing total level Disaster Recovery Plan, Continuity of Operations (COOP) Plan, contingency plans for system software, hardware, and applications for the client organization. Implements procedures to ensure business applications continue to function through disruptive incidents within an organization. Develops and maintains various security controls to protect technology assets from internal or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction. Provides reports regarding effectiveness of data security and makes recommendations for the adoption of new procedures. May oversee and facilitate the preparation of an organization-wide business resumption and disaster recovery plan inclusive of training and tabletop exercises. Responsible for ensuring the business resumption plan adequately addresses the organization’s requirements and established timeframes. Responsible for day-to-day security administration of the organization or client’s data systems and data networks, including systems access administration. May be assigned responsibility for the management of the business continuity, contingency and disaster recovery function, including associated staff.

Qualifications:


Basic Qualifications:
  • BS degree and 5-7 years experience or MS degree and 3-5 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Must have experience documenting and implementing plans and procedures to establish Disaster Recovery programs.
  • Must have experience coordinating and leading cross-functional team members to accomplish team objectives
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance with DHS EOD.

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid: $115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees.
